Filigree Boxes June 8, 2008

These are little cardboard boxes covered in polymer clay. I made these during my initial love affair with filigree. They’re pretty sturdy and fun to make, except for the bottoms. If I make any more, I think I’ll just paint the bottom part. I made a box once where I covered the sides in filigree too, but it took forever. And then it broke in the move. No pictures of that one, but the rainbow one has a similar look, even if it’s solid black instead of variegated.
