This is made from silver and anodized niobium. Niobium is a base metal, but it’s pretty rare so it costs about as much as silver. It shares a lot of properties with aluminum and titanium, also reactive or transition metals. Basically, niobium is easily anodized into a wide range of vibrant colors. The metal itself is soft to work with and very lightweight but pretty tough-wearing overall. (I wish they’d make knitting needles out of this stuff!) This bracelet uses 13 colors of niobium.
